The Second Annual Consejo Christmas Carol Extravaganza was held on Saturday evening Dec. 20th. This years singers gathered at Wayne and Lorraine's around 3PM. The One Hummer Open Sleigh carried the revelers through Consejo Shores, Mayan Seaside, Consejo Village and Smuggler's Den.
New to Consejo Shores this year are Jack and Marline. They purchased Casa De Sueños from the McMaster's and have transformed it into a stunningly elegant home. They invited the group in for a look and some eggnog (like we needed some additional Christmas spirits). Absolutely beautiful.
Adding to the holiday atmosphere, several of the carolers brought candy which was thrown from the sleigh to the delight of kids and adults alike.
After spreading holiday cheer throughout most of the area, it was time for some food. Sandwiches, fruit and cookies were hauled down to the McMaster's waterfront and promptly devoured, along with a just little more beer and rum.
Fully refreshed and refueled, the singers loaded into the Hummer Open Sleigh to serenade the last few remaining homes on the way back to Wayne and Lorraine's. The trailer was unhooked and the more hardy souls repaired to the roof top for one last round. The final photo is of Jeff and Denise's house, the winners of this years "Best Holiday Decorations" award.
Thanks to Jeff & Denise, Wayne & Lorraine, Robert & Margaret and Jack & Marline for the photos and to everyone who participated for the wonderful time.
